Violin / Vocals
Allison Irvine began playing the violin at age 5. She spent her childhood learning classical music, performing first in the South Florida Youth Symphony and later on a mixed-age 12-piece chamber group called I Giovanni. Allison graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Engineering Technology. While attending university, her first club performance was with a Haitian group called Loray Mistik. From that point on Allison performed with several groups in Miami over a variety of Latin American, Caribbean, pop, and North American styles of music. She performed in many clubs and outdoor festivals such as Carnival on the Mile, Bob Marley Fest, and the Calle Ocho festival. She also travelled for some performances, including the Concerto for Orchestra and Turntables by Redbull at Carnegie Hall and a cross-country tour with a latin fusion band called Lanzallamas.
She’s lived and performed in cities such as Indianapolis, Indiana where she performed with several bands that played country, blues, bluegrass, classic rock, R&B, gospel, jam-band style, and pop. She also co-fronted a pop cover band as a singer and violinist for a short time. She performed at many venues and events in Indiana including the Indy 500 and the NCAA Final Four. Now LA based she joins the WC family.
